Kara was appointed to the lay ministry as Chaplain in 2020, and serves STNS under the guidance of our Chaplain Emeritus, the Rev. Janice Robbins. Primary duties include organizing daily chapel gatherings for ELC & Primary levels, leading a weekly Chapel Circle for Pk3, coordinating school-wide outreach efforts, and offering support to the community as needed. Kara is also Music Director, teaching daily music classes as well as overseeing the after-school music program. Kara is a certified Godly Play instructor and a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500Hr level. 

Kara has been with St. Nicholas School since 2002.
