Welcome from the Admissions Office

We are pleased that you are interested in learning more about St. Nicholas and the excellent and unique academic experience our program offers. Exploring educational opportunities for your child is exciting, and we look forward to sharing in this experience with you.

Our comprehensive curriculum ensures that the St. Nicholas educational program is unparalleled in content and approach. In all areas, St. Nicholas students meet or surpass national standards and benchmarks. Core subjects include language arts, social studies, math, and science taught daily in small classroom settings that encourage investigation, inquiry, and collaboration. Interdisciplinary studies are also central to the course of study. Language arts is coordinated with social studies, and science education is blended with mathematics. Foreign language, music, physical education, and art are woven throughout the curriculum while technology is integrated across all disciplines. Our Early Learning Center offers a nature-based program that is Reggio Emilia-inspired.  Our curriculum focuses on hands-on learning and builds problem-solving, collaboration and creative thinking skills.

The application submission begins the the process; the application fee is $75.  We will keep you informed of any assessment dates or deadlines that apply to your family. Please be sure to include us in any address changes your family might make so we don't lose track of you.

Early Learning Center

St. Nicholas offers a PK3 program for 3-year-olds,  PreK for 4-year-olds, and Kindergarten for 5-year-olds. The age cut-off is August 15th for either of these programs.

Primary Levels 3-7

St. Nicholas uses the term level rather than grade (Levels 3-7=Grades 1-5). This is because students' work is highly individualized and students in one level may have work from multiple grade levels.

St. Nicholas recognizes that the elementary school years are a critical time for the development of intellectual curiosity as well as social, emotional, and physical growth. Our program provides a stimulating academic environment through which children grow intellectually, realizing personal creativity and competency. During their years at St. Nicholas, youngsters develop self-confidence in themselves and a respect for the diversity of the world around them.   VIEWBOOK
