The St. Nicholas Summer Camp Program is a comprehensive school-age program licensed with the Tennessee Department of Education. St. Nicholas maintains all standards for the safety and well-being of the children enrolled. Our program challenges the imagination, stimulates creativity, encourages self-directed initiative, and develops leadership skills in children. Fun opportunities for learning by discovery through active child-centered experiences are an important part of the program. St. Nicholas staff members help children set limits, develop self-control, and foster friendships that promote trust, sharing, and openness.

 A $50 registration fee is charged, due upon enrollment. This includes the cost of one camp T-shirt. Additional T-shirts may be ordered for $10.The cost for a full week is $140 for one child, including field trips and snacks. Online registration and payment is encouraged. Payment may be made online by e-check or credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover. (If using Discover card, the fee must be paid at the summer camp registration desk.) Please make all checks payable to St. Nicholas School; note camper’s name and the weeks attending on your check.) A $30 fee is charged on all returned checks. Our camp is designed and staffed for full-time campers.NOTE: Campers are not allowed to attend camp or enrichment classes if payment is not made in advance, according to the Installment Payment Plan (in the catalog, the payment schedule is shown on page 21). 

  • Sibling Discounts
    Sibling discounts are available per week for more than one child; $10 sibling discount per week for each child (ages 4-12). [Registration fee is not discounted.]  Sibling discount does not apply to enrichment programs, or the Camp Leadership Program. 
  • Junior Discount / Camp Leadership Program
    This program is for  (a ges 13-15). A discount of $90 is offered for each Junior Counselor. See details and requirements below*  [Registration fee is not discounted.] 

For those who do not register for the entire summer, each week online registration for the following week is closed on Thursday at midnight, not to reopen until the following Monday at 10:00am.

The mission and purpose of St. Nicholas summer camp is to provide a fun learning experience for children, developing physical, cultural, social, and intellectual abilities.

Acceptance of applicants is considered according to the following criteria:
 1. Currently enrolled St. Nicholas School students and returning campers have the first opportunity to register. All other applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. St. Nicholas School does not discriminate on the basis of handicap, age, race, religion, gender, or national origin.
 2. Those requesting the greatest number of weeks during the summer.

A child must have reached his/her fourth birthday by May 30 and must be bathroom trained. Incoming St. Nicholas students are eligible once they turn four. Every child is expected to conform to the camp rules and regulations and show a spirit of cooperation with the camp personnel. When you enroll in this program you are reserving the time, space, staff, and provisions for your child whether or not he/she attends. Therefore, St. Nicholas cannot deduct days missed, from your fee.

The Camp Leadership Program for students who are ages 13-15 and are ready to take that step from camper to Assistant Counselor. The student must be ready to assume modest responsibility, lead by example, and work well with others. Two references and a paragraph indicating why you are interested are required. A $50 registration fee due upon enrollment, and a weekly rate of $50 is charged per child. [The discounted rate will apply and will be noted on the final invoice.] The registration fee includes the cost of one camp T-shirt. Additional T-shirts may be ordered for $10.


  • If Day Camp cancellation is made two or more weeks prior to scheduled date of attendance, St. Nicholas School refunds 75% of the fee. No refunds or credits are given for Day Camp if less than 2 weeks' notice is given. 
  •  Cancellation fees apply when camp weeks are cancelled OR switched. 
  • Cancellation forms are available at the camp desk. 
  •  Refunds are not given for cancellations of enrichment programs. 
  •  Refunds are handled through the Business Office.

Campers have the option of registering for enrichment classes without attending all-day camp. The costs for enrichment programs includes the class fee and supplies. There are no Enrichment Programs on Wednesdays due to field trips.   LIMITED SPACE / NO REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS.
[There is a one-time $5 registration fee for those who are not day campers, but only participate in enrichment classes.]

Each Wednesday campers go on a field trip to a local destination. Field trip costs are included in the prices for the week. Campers must arrive by 8:30AM on Wednesday to attend field trips.  Please make sure campers wear their summer camp shirts on field trip days.
